Ondiagnostische chronische nierziekte bij hartfalen en cardiovasculaire uitkomsten — FINEARTS-HF
In deze secundaire analyse van de FINEARTS-HF-randomisatietrial werd de prevalentie van ondiagnostische chronische nierziekte (CKD) onderzocht bij hoog-risicohartfalenpatiënten. De resultaten tonen aan dat een onbekende nierfunctiestoornis geassocieerd wordt met een verhoogd risico op cardiovasculaire uitkomsten. Deze bevindingen onderstrepen het klinisch belang van systematische nierfunctiescreening bij hartfalen, aangezien vroege herkenning de basis vormt voor gerichte cardiorenale interventies.

This secondary analysis of the FINEARTS-HF (Finerenone Trial to Investigate Efficacy and Safety Superior to Placebo in Patients With Heart Failure) randomized clinical trial investigates the prevalence of undiagnosed chronic kidney disease in high-risk individuals with heart failure and its association with cardiovascular outcomes.
